~The Tudors~

A great HBO tv series that started airing in 2007 had come across me right about then and it blew my mind; unfortunately, the show ended last year. But all the episodes were amazing: the costumes, the sets, the cast, the soundtrack… everything was absolutely perfect. In my opinion it is a brilliant historical series with an amazing cast and a magnificent story… a story of passion, of a mighty ruler, of a kingdom and a great dynasty. If you haven’t already seen it, you should definitely check it out!  And the important thing is that the historical truth is not changed in the film… well not entirely anyway.  So enjoy the movie trailer (for the first season) and maybe it will arouse your interest into seeing the whole show. It is worth it.

You have the wrong picture of Princess Mary there. The portrait that you have posted is of Princess Mary, King Henry VIII’s sister; not Princess Mary, King Henry VIII’s daughter. Just thought you should know! Other wise great posting!!!
